We Only Wish We Had More Work To Do

Take a look at these headlines from Drudge

Now, Obama traditionally looks at bad numbers, calls them 'encouraging' and then says "but we've got more work to do."  Well, Mr. President, roughly 15% of the US Population only wishes they had more work to do.  Instead, they don't have jobs where they can have "more work to do."

This is not even stagnant growth.  This is net job losses.  Depending on who you talk to, it takes somewhere between 120,000 and 200,000 new jobs each month just to keep up with population growth.  Using the lesser of those two numbers, we missed that by a third.  That means, using the most generous possible numbers, that there are an additional 40,000 people looking for work today who haven't found it over the number there were last month.

Job growth is virtually nonexistent.  Manufacturing actually contracted this month for the first time (officially) in over a year.  Real inflation is in the double digits.  Gas costs nearly 200% what it did when Obama took office.

Three and a half years in, and Barack Obama is still attempting to blame George Bush for his failures.  That either makes George Bush the most cunning and powerful president in American history, or it makes Barack Obama the weakest and most foolish.  I know which one I'm betting on.
